Riverwalk Books is an Independent, locally-owned Bookstore.

Our goal is to share the wisdom, ideas, and stories that books contain. Making a profit here is a means to this end, not an end itself..

In keeping with our goal:

-We pledge that Riverwalk Books and only Riverwalk Books will decide which books appear on our shelves.

-We pledge that our display space will never be for sale to the highest bidder.

-We pledge to give our honest opinions about books, because we are more interested in building a relationship than in making a sale.

-We pledge to add personality, diversity, (and attitude!) to our community, as distinct from the pre-packaged sameness of chain megastores.

-We pledge to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, bringing authors from around our community and around the world to share, challenge (and be challenged by) our customers.

-We pledge to protect the privacy of what you read, think, and say from all governmental or corporate intrusion, to the maximum extent the law allows.
